Pastor’s Biography

IMG_8629Pastor Victor Hickson Senior is a man of great faith who has experienced the miraculous power of God time and time again. As a child, he learned first–hand the awesome power of God when he was healed of a heart condition at 12 years of age. In a separate account, God’s hedge of protection kept him from bleeding to death after a vicious attack by two dogs. While most young men are looking to find themselves, Victor Hickson, at the age thirty, had already had his life’s calling predestined. He was ordained in 1988 at the age of twenty- six and served faithfully until God opened the door in 1991 for him to become the Pastor of Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ. Where served as Pastor for seven years.

God would set in motion a series of assignments and opened doors in the years to follow. In December of 1999, God gave Pastor Hickson the vision for Full Deliverance Ministries where the motto is, “Little becomes much when you place it in the Master’s hand.” From that time on God opened many doors from renting other churches, to partnering with large church organizations, and even moving far south to an unknown area. Although there were many naysayers, Hickson trusted in the vision that God had given him and saw the ministry grow.

Today, Pastor Hickson oversees one of the fastest growing churches in South Florida with a charter school that has over 400 students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Full Deliverance also has a free health clinic serving over 5,000 patients a year, and host many other ministries. Pastor Hickson is full of expectation as God continues to move in his life, in the life of Full Deliverance Baptist Church members, and everyone else he comes in contact with.
