Power of the Resurrection of Christ

[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body]. Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own. – Philippians 3:10 – 12 (Amplified Version)

This is the week before resurrection Sunday and Paul speaks to us in this scripture. Paul shares that we should get to know Christ in the power of His resurrection. It is important to get to know Him in the power of His resurrection so that you can share in His Glory. Do you find yourself sometimes depressed and hindered from progress? The resurrection of Christ took care of all issues that would make you depressed or hinder you. When we get to know Jesus and His power we will change for the better. You can and will live a victorious life if you let Him work through you and in you.

I encourage you to put this to action and study about the resurrection of Christ. Salvation is only one of the many benefits of the death AND resurrection of Christ. As you get to Him you do suffer with Him. Like Paul says the suffering is continual transformation that you may be like Christ. Who does not want to be like Christ? He raises the dead, healed the sick, and walked this earth in perfect love! Press on, let resurrection power work through you and you will be able to do the same and even more, as Jesus promised in John 14:12-14.
